Looking for
an interesting venue for a meeting, reception,
wedding, reunion or party? Let us take you out
on an evening cruise on the Chena River aboard
the Riverboat Discovery II. We can handle
anything, from small intimate receptions to
large meetings, or fundraisers.
Time Frame
Due to the nature of our passenger service, our
charter service is only available during the
evening hours. The typical charter schedule is;
6:30 PM: Boarding of Riverboat Discovery II
begins
7:00 PM: Depart Steamboat Landing
9:00 PM: Return to Steamboat Landing
Rate
The Riverboat discovery offers a rate of $15 per
passenger for its charter service. There is a
60 person minimum charge for each charter.
Services
- Set up:
Our crew will provide you with a clean
and clear boat and will help assist in setting
up tables and chairs however you prefer. You
are free to add additional decorations as you
wish.
- Host:
We can include a host to provide light
commentary along the way for an extra charge.
- Bar:
We will provide a full bar for your event
and can include any alcoholic or non-alcoholic
drinks you may choose. We can run a no-host
bar, an open bar or distribute drink tickets,
please inquire for all our options.
- A/V System:
We have a full audio and video
system incorporated into the boat that includes
built in video cameras, 12 television monitors
and integrated speakers. We can play DVD’s or
picture slideshows on the screens and play your
favorite CD or your custom play list on your
iPod through our speaker system. Hardwire and
wireless microphones are available for
lecturers, MC’s or announcements.

Bands and DJ’s welcome!

Clean Up:
All clean up and tear down will be
provided by our crew; however, the boat must be
clear of passengers and all personal items
within 30 minutes of return to the dock.
Capacity
Riverboat Discovery II has a maximum capacity of
300; however, for certain events there are
certain recommended capacities. Please inquire
if you have questions regarding your event.

While we do not provide catering directly, you
are free to pick from any third party caterer
you wish, or you are welcome to bring your own
food. We have worked with nearly every caterer
in town and welcome all aboard our boat.
